Aladdin, the Hallingburys' Panto 2004

Of course we had to have the villain of the piece, Uncle Abinazar pictured with Wishy Washy, Aladdin's dextrous and highly entertaining brother. Then we have that wicked Uncle with Aladdin himself. And of course it would not have been the same without Widow Twanky.

And it was all for love of the beautiful So Shi, daughter of the rather feeble-minded Emperor.

The two beautiful genies, the one of the lamp and the one of the ring, assisted the plot excellently.

And there were three little maids who gave us all a good laugh
I think the one in the centre looks like Ena Sharples on a bad day, that dates me!!

Police Constables Ping and Pong, kept everyone in disorder and I loved their accompaniment to one of the songs!

A delightful production. Thanks to all the participants, on stage, back stage and front of house etc.
