Sunday
and the start of a new week. However I must place an image from last week's
Spring Harvest, Christian conference and celebration, on this photographic
diary. I took it whilst there and have permission from the artists, Dovi
Requenea and Rob Young, to place it on this web site.
This image had an impact on many of us there, it began the evening of
worship as a white cross which you can see and developed from there as an
offering of worship.

Monday and the weather is wet!
However, even on a dull and wet day there is always something to see and do.
The snail certainly seemed to enjoy it! Have you ever noticed the size and
viciousness of a starlings beak? Here is a photo of a starling on one of the
bird feeders, it is probably the largest bird that I have seen on one.

Tuesday and the great tit is
always photogenic. As the year moves on into summer more of the plants are
flowering and one of the more majestic is this blue iris.

There is also
this beautiful rhododendron hanging over our fence from our neighbours
garden.

 Thursday
already!! Too busy playing with a new toy to take photos yesterday, or today
for that matter! But Spring is now well on its way as these two pictures
taken last week prove.

 Friday
and almost the end of another week. Today I was not inspired to take too many
photos as it was cold and wet, however as I travelled past a wood near us
this morning by car I noticed the bluebells carpeting it and remembered that
I had taken some photos of our native bluebells some time ago and here is one
of the results. To prove what the weather has been like I have also included
a photo of a hen chaffinch taken on our patio this afternoon. I suppose it is
appropriate that it is the duller female of the species that was present on
this dull afternoon, no doubt ensuring that her young were fed - although
perhaps that remark is unfair.
