This is a picture of the Actinic moth trap that I use to trap the moths in my garden. I have had it since June 2004 and the number of moths that I have seen as a result has increased dramatically although they do not always enter the trap. I have also had a few unexpected visitors such as the dragonfly that paid a visit in August 2005.
The egg cartons at the side of the trap are an essential part of the equipment as these are placed inside the trap and the moths roost in them once they have entered the trap.
The cameras that I use are an Olympus Camedia C-750 with a 10x optical zoom and to capture the bird images I have used an Olympus 1.7X Teleconversion lens. My other camera is a Nikopn Coolpix 2200.
