Moths seen in the garden to date A-F, G-M, N-Si, Sh-the end

November

I'm not quite certain what happened to October but all of a sudden we seem to be well into November, the 11th to be precise, and there have been no entries since late September. I suppose that the excuse is that I have been extremely busy with the start of new training but I have been watching out for new moths and anything else that catches my eye. One thing that very much caught my eye was the most amazing sunrise on October 27th when I was having to travel to London, I was well repaid with that! Also the evening before I discovered a new moth to me on the front door, The Sprawler, Brachionycha sphinx. Since then I have also added to the number with a Scarce Umber, Agriopis aurantiaria, and the little Blastobasis decolorella. To see what all these look like simply click on the relevant alphabetical list of the moths that I have seen in the garden.
