Anglesey Abbey

We had a delightful day at Anglesey Abbey. If you would like to find out more about this delightful house owned by The National Trust click on the picture.
There was one delightful painted lady in the herbaceous border which was most obliging.
There are many walks and a variety of gardens to see around the Abbey. The painted lady butterfly and the bees I took were in the herbaceous borders. The brimstone butterfly was on a perpetual sweet pea to be found on this side of the house.
I think this is a field digger wasp.

The five spot burnet moth was on some wild scabious in amongst meadow grass that had been left on the estate.
